For those who are new to my journey, one accomplishment that still makes me smile is that I can honestly claim to be a bestselling author. The Tenth Muse: How Maria Antonia Advanced the Pastoral Opera topped Amazon's charts in its first month of release back in 2023, and continues to sell. Never did I imagine that I would publish my dissertation, let alone have it achieve such status.
But books don't sell themselves, even though having them on Amazon and IngramSpark helps. My experience during the first year post-publication is like that of many writers.
