It’s official: my condo is on the market. After nearly four years in Fort Myers, Florida I plan to move up the coast to Sarasota, Florida this summer.
Why? Because after four years of chasing leads all over Lee and Collier Counties, and getting a meager return on my investment of time and energy, it's time to move on. I already have some historical dance teaching lined up for the fall in Sarasota, and am optimistic that even better opportunities to sustain body and soul will present themselves there.
I’m also on the lookout for retreat centers interested in hosting my seven-session course,The ALICE Way: Wonderland-inspired Resilience Training. Totally revised, my course is filled with fun, yet practical ways to keep oneself going through the good and not-so-good times that life brings our way. Quotes from Lewis Carroll and his “Alice” books abound in each interactive lesson. Think of it as wellness coaching via Wonderland. And, naturally, there is tea to be had. In fact, the course concludes with a Mad Tea Party!
